Quality Assurance
All of our Day Three products are made from organically grown Industrial Hemp (Cannabis Sativa L). The CBD (cannabidiol) and the related naturally occurring compounds in our products are analyzed by the batch and certified by an independent third-party laboratory for consistency, potency and your safety. The laboratory tests our products for the measurable spectrum of the important naturally occurring constituents of the hemp plant.
CBD oil derived from hemp is naturally complex. Our oil contains an array of phytocannabinoids; including cannabidiol (CBD) CBC, CBDA, CBDV, CBG, CBGA, CBN, other minor cannabinoids including Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), as well as numerous terpenes, bioflavonoids, isoflavones and other naturally-occurring compounds. CBD oil also contains trace amounts of vitamins such as vitamins A, B, C, and E, essential fatty acids, and minerals from the soil including some Iron, Zinc, Potassium, and Calcium. All these elements work together to produce an entourage effect.
Our hemp derived products are rigorously tested to meet our strict manufacturing standards. Every single bottle or jar of product from our Day Three Botanicals facility comes from a small batch that has been tested to be free from agricultural chemicals including pesticides, fungicides, insecticides, heavy metals, microbial content, and mycotoxins (mold).
When we first started, like many others, we originally used ethanol as a solvent to create our hemp extracts. Historically, the alcohol extraction and evaporation method has been used. For almost two years we have been using a new extraction process with liquid carbon dioxide. The liquid CO2 process allows for optimal retention of the hemp plant’s major and minor cannabinoids, as well as the terpenes and other temperature-sensitive compounds that occur naturally in the hemp plant. The CO2 is recaptured and the remaining fiber can be used for other applications.
Each batch of Day Three Botanicals has a 3rd-party Certificates of Analysis associated with its batch number that is in our batch database as a public record. This information is available online for all of our clients to see. You will find a detailed analysis report of the plant constituents in our extracts measuring the full spectrum of the naturally occurring cannabinoids.
Our full spectrum CBD oils contain the trace amount of Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) allowed by law in the 2018 Farm Bill, while our broad-spectrum CBD oil is certified THC free.
Our CBD oils can simply be swallowed if you are on the go, or it can be added to foods or drinks. The pet formula can be added to your pet’s favorite treat or their food as well.
We suggest CBD oil be used once or twice daily, and our comfort cream can be applied topically as needed.
Our CBD oil products are now a water-soluble supplement designed to be used sublingually. This route of administration provides better absorption. Simply place the drops under your tongue. For best results we suggest you let the formula stay under your tongue for a minute or two, then swallow it.
You will find that the new CO2 extraction process provides a much better taste, and we add a hint of natural mint flavor.
