Unlike medical cannabis (marijuana), CBD is made from industrial hemp, a cousin of the marijuana plant that is bred to be high in CBD and extremely low in THC. The law today allows CBD to be purchased as an over-the-counter product and does not really require a doctor’s recommendation or a trip to the state’s medical marijuana dispensary. Medical marijuana remains a Schedule I substance and cannot be prescribed, it can only be recommended for some 25 plus medical conditions.
The TCH in marijuana, like the CBD in hemp, has medicinal properties, but unlike THC, CBD is not a Schedule I substance. Originally, all of our Day Three Botanicals CBD products were formulated for physicians’ use and up until recently were only available in doctors’ offices. Now anyone over the age of 21 can buy our custom formulations through our online store.
While state’s rights provide for both the recreational and medicinal use of medical marijuana in more than half the nation, CBD is no longer considered a controlled substance and it is available without a-prescription in all 50 states.
The question people face is what brand of CBD should I buy? Is there a difference in the quality and the strength? The answer to both questions is yes. Not all CBD is the same. The origin and growing conditions, and the extraction process of the hemp plants, all play a huge role in the quality of the CBD oil that you buy.
For your health and safety, all of our products are made from certified organically grown hemp farmed in Colorado and Oregon. Each batch of Day Three Botanicals CBD oil is tested for purity and consistency. Since 2017 Day Three Botanicals LLC, has been a leader in the science and applications of CBD products for health and well-being. Ask your healthcare professional if CBD is right for you?
